Sweet and Sour Chicken

Coating for chicken
1 egg
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 dash white pepper

6 boneless chicken breast, cubed
1 carrot sliced thin
1/2 green bell pepper cut in chunks
1/2 red bell pepper cut in chunks

Sauce
2 1/3 cups sugar
1 can chicken broth (14 oz)
1 1/3 cup white vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 clove garlic, finely chopped (or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder)
1/3 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup water (to mix with cornstarch)
1 can pineapple tibbits

Chicken: Mix first 5 ingredients together.  Stir in chicken.  Cover and refrigerate 20 minutes.  Stir Fry peppers and carrots. Add chicken and cook chicken til done. 

Sauce: Heat sugar, chicken broth, vinegar, oil, soy sauce, salt and garlic to boiling.  Mix cornstarch and water in a separate bowl.  Stir into sauce.  Cook and stir until thickened.  Stir in pineapple.  Heat to boiling.  Pour over chicken to serve.
